South Fork Flathead River

Around Murphy Flats

Late afternoon shadows & light in the Bob Marshall Wilderness.

Canon EF 70-200, f 4.0 L series glass mounted on a Canon EOS 300D camera body. Set of sticks & ball head by Manfrotto. No filters. ISO 100, f 9.0, 1/200 second Tv.

A slight tweaking of the color saturation & contrast in post processing.

No bull trout were harmed in the making of this photo. And that's no bull!

Thanks for the great shots of the Bob. I'm aching (not including my tailbone) to go back some time. I know for a fact that JohnW was really casting for cutts and not bull trout at Big Salmon!

Wade, would you please take me there? I want to experience the Bob with you.

Yep, she get's it on like the Easter bunny.

"He ain't got laid in a month of Sundays
I caught him once and he was sniffin' my undies
He ain't too sharp but he gets things done
Drinks his beer like it's oxygen
He's my baby
And I'm his honey
Never gonna let him go"

Matt,
Kinda looks like John is just hung up on the bottom in that shot. That's what I'm thinking right now.

Who Said What Now?

“What's Bob talking about...I love living in a stuffy basement in a crowded city. And I love Shotz Beer, but my twirp roommate gets on my nerves some times."

Bob's an idiot!

Does anyone here ever do any Polish nymphing? It's been a killer tactic for Squiggy & me down in the Driftless region.
