The Missing Lynx
Gibbon River - November, 2007This incredibly lucky shot of a rare Canadian Lynx was snagged by a "Parkie" along the Gibbon River near Beryl Spring this past November 26th. Beryl Spring is the extremely odoriferous hot spring located just west of Elk Park, right along the Norris-Madison Junction road. Considered even more uncommon than a wolverine, even the biologist who study the lynx are rarely ever treated to a real-time sighting.
